About the event

Three highly experienced and dedicated specialists are volunteering their time and knowledge for the benefit of the local community to give us the opportunity for a unique day out and raise funds for the Orbost Arts Centre. No items? No worries, just come along for a fun day and watch our wonderful specialists in action. Tea and coffee and refreshments will also be available to purchase.

  • Simon Storey covers the area of antiques. Over 30 years Simon has valued national, state and regional collections, including the National Museum of Australia and the entire collection of the Australian War Memorial amongst other important projects. This has included everything from space aeronautics to colonial furniture. Some of the more interesting objects were the recovered relics from wreck of the Batavia in Western Australia, Phar Lap’s heart, the painting Blue Poles, Ned Kelly’s original death mask at Melbourne University (there are other copies)…
