About the event

Join us at the Orbost Exhibition Centre to celebrate the Summer Holidays with art! We have partnered with RecLink, Moogji and Gippsland Youth to bring you 14 days straight of kids and teen activities centered around the NGV Kids on Tour Program.

The NGV Kids on Tour is an initiative of the National Gallery of Victoria. NGV extends sincerest thanks to Event Partner, Officeworks, for their

generous support of NGV Kids exhibitions and programs.  Through a series of free workshops and activities, attendees can enjoy a range of art-making activities developed by artists and the NGV. The collaborative hands-on activities are fun for family and friends, foster social connection and spark creative thinking, providing opportunities for self-expression.

There are 6 different NGV Kids on Tour Activities which will repeat across the 14 days, which are all free!

With the help of our partners the Orbost Exhibition Centre will also be running  some extra low-cost activities including movie afternoons and some extra art activities to make two full weeks of holiday fun. Gippsland Youth are also running a pool party at the Orbost Pool!

Parental supervision is needed at all activities. We encourage you to RSVP to get program updates.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land upon which the OEC sits. We celebrate the long history of art inherent in the cultures of the Gunaikurnai, Bidwell and Monero peoples, and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
